  • Mr. Yip is a serial entrepreneur who started his first Internet company at the age of 17.  Since then, he has founded several tech companies including MyRice.com and Menue (#1 Japanese manga publisher on mobile) and successfully exited with high returns for their founders and investors.


  • David’s global career has spanned 35 years in the financial services industry, information technology and risk management across multiple channels and markets.

    He is currently on the advisory board of Guardtime, the world’s largest blockchain company and ultimate risk solutions specialising in risk-based capital management and solvency.


  • Florian is a web3 and start-up veteran with more than a decade of experience working with tech companies focusing on corporate strategy, financing and scalability.

  • Nicolas Husson is the Managing Director of DP88 Hong Kong, a private family-office based in Hong Kong, overseeing the FO’s venture capital and PE fund investments.

    Nicolas is also VP Finance of Riley Cillian overlooking payments, finance, capital markets, compliance, product and user acquisition.

  • Arash Torabi, MD, is a medical doctor and founder of a London-based multinational property-management firm. He is Co-Chair of Fundraising at MarcoPolo700 and provides strategic counsel on capital raising and go-to-market strategy for start-ups.

  • Dr. Wong is the founder of the iASPEC Technologies Group, which operates a number of software companies in Hong Kong, Mainland China and the US since 1998.

    Dr. Wong obtained his Ph.D degree in Mathematics from the University in California, Berkeley.

  • John Spence is a seasoned insurance and wealth management executive with extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), bancassurance, and corporate development.

    John has been based in Hong Kong since 2000 with business leadership roles at Generali Asia, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW), Macquarie Funds Group and Manulife Financial. Prior to 2000, John was with Manulife Financial in Canada, and in Australia with National Australia Bank, Colonial Mutual, AMP Society and KPMG.

    John holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of New South Wales Business School, Bachelor of Economics (BEc) from Sydney University, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant Australia and New Zealand (FCA ANZ), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors (FHKIoD).

  • Lisa joined Zhaoke as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in December 2020 and took on the additional role of Chief Business Officer in January 2022. In these two roles, she oversees the financial and investor relations functions of the company as well as overall strategy and key functions including digital, legal/compliance and HR.

    Lisa started her professional career as a strategy consultant at McKinsey in the US in 2000, followed by a decade as an investment banker, including eight years at Goldman Sachs and two years at Standard Chartered Bank as its head of China Equity Capital Markets. Her banking experiences spanned across M&A, IPO and debt/equity financing, and US and Asia. She joined Global Brands Group as September in 2014 with a particular focus on omnichannel brand and retail strategy. Subsequently she served as Chief Financial Officer of ACEA Therapeutics, a small molecule oncology company in China and US.

  • Dr. Tan Yang has extensive experiences in international mergers and acquisitions, postinvestment management, business strategy and operations. Previously he has held senior positions with major multinational companies including Siemens, Monitor Consulting Group, Accenture, and Rothschild across a variety of industries and geographies.

    Over the years, Mr. Yang has led and completed many large deals with combined value of more than US$9 billion. He led the negotiation, coordination and communication with regulatory agencies in different countries, and successfully secured relevant approval for all the deals above despite the significant regulatory challenges.

    He has held a number of non-executive roles in listed companies in different countries.

    Mr. Yang holds a PhD in Management Studies from University of Oxford and is Honorary China Advisor to Oxford University, member of Oxford University China Advisory Committee, Distinguished Friend of Oxford, and Director of Hong Kong China Finance Association. Over the years, he has made keynote speeches at many global and domestic investment summits, given lectures at leading universities in China and abroad, and has published a number of articles and books on strategy and investment in leading domestic and international journals
